Shake it up

Have you ever discovered after the fact that you have stumbled on a great hack? I bet we all do this but may not realize it because we accidentally tried a new approach. The other day, I was stumped with an assignment for work and just needed to have new energy and a new perspective. My normal “go outside for a walk” did not work that day, but after listening to some great music, I had a breakthrough. Our brains like variety and one way to get out of a rut is to shake it up, give it something new to consume. Just like a new food that can be exciting and fun for some, listening to new music, or doing a new exercise, or seeing old friends you have not seen in a while, all of these can put you in a more productive state and open to new ways of thinking.


As some of us go back to working in an office, go out with friends again, shake up that routine, realize you most likely will gain new breakthroughs in energy and awareness.
