Susan B. Shapiro, MS, MCC, provides high potential coaching and consulting services to organizations who believe that people are their greatest asset. Susan brings insight into communications, emotional intelligence, and relationship building for collaboration and delivering value. These areas can assist the leader to deliver better results through their teams.  Susan helps leaders use their power and influence to lead change in their organizations.

 

She serves senior and C- level executives many areas: operations, finance, product development, research, engineering, program management, marketing, sales, information technology, manufacturing, and administration. Industries include manufacturing, distribution, technology, energy, aerospace, financial, education, and healthcare. Clients value her straightforward approach and assistance in gaining new perspectives, thinking outside the box and taking risks. They report accelerated growth, increased confidence, more thinking agility and skill in delivering innovative results to their organizations, all while developing their own teams. Her clients are leaders in cross cultural, diverse work environments with complex, global and matrixed organizations. In addition to individual coaching, she does group and team coaching in areas of collaboration, accountability, communication and alignment.

 

Before coaching she served as Hewlett-Packard’s Director of Strategic System Integrators.  Susan led teams who successfully created and delivered enterprise solutions to the market with partners such as Accenture, PWC, Oracle and SAP. Her other responsibilities included global program marketing through ten virtual teams. Previously, she ran major account direct sales in North Texas with responsibility for telecommunications, manufacturing, distribution and government enterprises. She was a top President’s Club Achiever, and was in Hewlett-Packard’s Accelerated Development Program.

 

Shapiro holds an MS in Management and Administrative Science from the University of Texas at Dallas, where she graduated with distinction, and also earned a Graduate Certificate in Executive and Professional Coaching.  She is a member of Phi Kappa Phi. Susan holds a Master Certified Coach MCC credential with the International Coach Federation, (ICF).  Her BS degree is in Marketing and Economics from Hofstra University in New York. 

 

She is a certified International Coach Federation (ICF) assessor who mentors other coaches looking to improve their skills. In working with executive education programs at local universities, she delivers coaching to both clients of the SMU Cox Executive Education program, and University of Texas at Dallas EMBA programs. She is Past President of the North Texas Chapter of the ICF.

He is a recognized expert in strategy, finance, research commercialization, engineering, sales, marketing, M&A, funding, business troubleshooting, and operations management.

He founded and was CEO of Alliance Systems, a self-funded technology company that grew to $125 million and was later acquired by a public company. He was CEO of Texas Institute, an energy technology research institute establishing a consortium of six universities, multiple city governments, and numerous state agencies that helped Texas become the world leader in renewable electrical power.

As a leader and mentor for the University of Texas at Dallas Venture Development Center, he assisted in raising more than $120 million in funding, and the Incubator launched more than 100 businesses. His role as Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Colorado gives him access to the latest scientific research, exceptional talent pools, and the newest innovation and entrepreneurship techniques.

 

Jon is a three-time finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year and is a graduate of Hofstra University.

 

He is passionate about adventure travel, photography, and supporting children’s safety and welfare.
