Health and Wellness Coach
Nichole Bates is a Certified Health and Wellness Coach and Certified Personal Trainer who takes a holistic coaching approach with her clients. Rather than just looking through the lens of just exercise and nutrition, she explores all areas which play roles in our health such as mindfulness, self-care, career accomplishments, lifestyle and spirituality. She believes that parts of a person’s life intersect with a person’s well-being and their ability to live a healthy life.
Clients find Nichole’s health coaching style to be very relatable and compassionate, delivered with a contagious positive energy. Her ability to meet each client where they are at and instill confidence in themselves allows them to create positive and sustainable change.
A part of her philosophy is that each client is treated individually, simply because there is “no one size fits all” when it comes to health. Every client that works with Nichole is given a personalized plan that will help them learn along with seeing results. She believes if a client is learning the “why” behind what they are doing, resulting behavior change will be successful. She has experience working with clients ranging from 6-70 years old.
Her background includes working as Health Coaching Manager at Life Time Fitness in Minneapolis for two years where she managed a team of 10 health coaches, and together serviced several companies’ wellness benefits programs through health coaching for weight loss, nutrition, exercise, and overall lifestyle change. She has led seminars on health for various organizations. Prior to that, Nichole worked as private health coach with hundreds of clients where she helped them reach their goals.
Nichole holds a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science from the University of Wisconsin in River Falls. She is certified by Wellcoaches, an ICF accredited coaching education firm. She also is a Certified Personal trainer by the NASM. Her nutrition certification is from Precision Nutrition.
